The OTC Comedy Troupe helps Beat the Back to School Blues
It’s the last dog days of summer, the kids are back in school and you want to try something new with your family rather than sitting in a dark theater watching another “blockbuster.” How about a show that you can help create on the spot - a show that is unique and uses audience suggestions to create scenes on the spot?
Join The OTC (Off the Cobb) comedy troupe for entertainment that is fun and interactive. The family show is a fast paced show that uses audience suggestions and the kids themselves in their comedy improv sketches, similar to "Whose Line Is it Anyway?"
The kids might be part of a family vacation slide show, a sing-a-long or might provide the lines during "Clips and Phrases." It’s great way to beat the back to school blues.

On-line reservations - www.offthecobb.com | For adults for the 8:00 p.m. shows, the group does such signature pieces as Instant Sit-Com where an audience member becomes a special guest star or gets to see the group act our a day in their life. On August 25th, the group will do a Ladies Night Out – a special comedy show geared to women (but men are welcome too) that is a great way to kick back with your girlfriends and have a laugh.
As one of Atlanta’s most innovative comedy improv troupes, The OTC’s wacky and slightly “off the center, off the chain” actors use suggestions from the audience to create the shows. The troupe has headlined at Atlanta’s Punchline and has performed for such diverse corporate audiences as the Governor's Summit on Customer Service, Street Smarts, Solvay International and the Attachment Disorder Network to name a few.
“The heat is on and school is back in session, but it’s not too late to have some summer fun with The OTC. It’s the only show in Gwinnett where you get to create the scenes with the actors and have a blast doing it,” commented Kelley Cody-Grimm, The OTC Artistic Director.
In addition to performances, The OTC now offers one-day corporate trainings on public speaking and team building in Duluth. The troupe can also be booked to entertain at special events, bachlorette parties, showers and birthdays and can customize a show to fit any occasion.
