I took my mom, Arlyn, to Joey D's for her birthday dinner on Sunday, October 5, 2003.
We ordered the raw oyster shooters (1/2 dozen) and they were very cold, (which is GREAT) and very tasty!
From the menu... RAW OYSTERS ABSOLUT
6 fresh farm-raised oysters topped with our special cocktail sauce,
served in individual shooter glasses with a dash of Absolut Peppar Vodka.
(You add Tabasco to your taste)
For mom's entree, she ordered a rack of ribs with an order of Beefsteak tomatoes and onions for her salad, along with creamed spinach.
From the menu... We use imported Danish baby backs and USDA choice aged beef ribs.
Both are prepared with the classic charred exterior
and are so "fall-off-the-bone" tender that they can be eaten with a fork.
For my entree, I ordered the prime rib with a house salad, and also ordered the cream spinach. Excellent!
From the menu... Slow-cooked in Alto Shaam (TM) ovens to ensure top quality.
Good food, good service, and a really friendly atmosphere.
